MAP Purpose

MAP puts classroom knowledge to work in a real-world setting while equipping interns to impact the world with their lives and careers. While the largest portion of the program is the work experience, the heart of the program builds on the foundation of a personal faith in God to develop a vision that will empower a career and make a difference in the world. It involves training and experiences geared toward giving each intern an edge in life as well as in their career.

Professional Experience

It’s more than just putting money in your pocket or fulfilling an internship requirement. Work experience relevant to your career field allows you to apply your education beyond the classroom, while gaining experience for your resume. As a MAP intern, you may work both independently and as part of a team. Your workplace supervisor will provide feedback and guidance.

Personal Development

Life is more than a job, and there’s more to navigate than just your career. Throughout the course of the summer MAP exposes its interns to personal development tests as well as other learning experiences that support who you are becoming. MAP staff members help you process what you are learning and experiencing.

Purposeful Future

We believe God has a calling on your life. We believe every Christian should embrace God’s call and live a life that demonstrates God’s heart for the world. This should impact not only our careers, but also our families and our communities.

Our values-based training program is designed to invest knowledge and experience that will propel you beyond your years. You will learn firsthand from successful professionals in for-profit and non-profit businesses who will share from their own lives. You’ll benefit from valuable training that will help launch you into your future more prepared and with a greater sense of purpose.

"The attention given to personal growth and development is different from anything else I have seen. They allowed me to work on projects I was interested in and respected me as an equal."
